How is dragon age 2? And is it any good?

Dragon Age 2 is not open ended like Bethesda's RPG. BioWare's RPGs focus on the storyline and characters so expect more cinematics than those games. Gameplay is similar to traditional RPGs, on PC at least. You control four characters at a time and you pause the game to think of a strategy to beat your enemies (which come in groups). On consoles it's a hack %26amp; slash game with elements from traditional RPG combat. You do get armor and weapons from fallen enemies.



The majority of the game takes place in the city Kirkwall after the Grey Wardens from Dragon Age Origins defeated the Blight in Ferelden. In the beginning of the game it is revealed that your character was in the center of events that lead to the fall of the most dominant church in the world (The Chantry). The world is on the brink of war and they need to find the only person who can put it back together. The game tells the story of how a refugee became the most important person in the history of the world.How is dragon age 2? And is it any good?
I liked it. In a lot of ways it's better than the first one. It is a linear story line, not an open world like Fallout or Oblivion. It also takes place over the course of ten years which can take some getting used to.



Otherwise it's like any other RPG. There are quests, loot, fun companions, customization, lots of choices, and a good story.How is dragon age 2? And is it any good?
