Getting through all the darkspawn and golems used up my health poultices and most of my lyrium
Alas, I loaded an earlier save and have bought more.
So I have to go through all that again.
Who should I take?
Wynne/Morrigan don't have cone of cold :( I heard that's really useful
Wynne has: Arcane bolt, Group heal, Revival, Lifeward, Cleansing aura, Rock armour, Stonefist, Winter's grasp, Lightning, Shock, Heal etc etc
Morrigan has: Spider/bear shape, Arcane bolt, flame blast, flaming weapons, rock armour, winter's grasp, lightning, heal etc etc
(I thought giving my spells might help tactics wise)
In my inventory, from travelling about and buying what I can, I have 2 x greater health poultice, a health poultice and 4 x lesser health poultice, 5 x injury kit, 4 x lyrium potion and 3 x lesser lyrium potion.
Please help :( I hate Branka and it kills me I can't beat her.|||Definitely keep Wynne with you since shes a healer and you don't have that many health poultices. Does Morrigan have any of the big AoE spells like tempest? If she does bring her if not then don't bother she would just use up lyrium potions that you should save for Wynne so she can keep healing people. If she does though you would want to have her cast the AoE spells then change into bear form so that she doesn't use up your precious lyrium. Also use the lyrium veins that are scattered about you'll have to take control of them to do so. Have you set up the tactics for everyone? You want to make sure to go to your tactics screen and set everyone up to do the spells/special moves in the most beneficial/strategic way. If you haven't set up your tactics then its very likely that most of your party isn't using many of their spells/moves. Make sure to have Wynne cast lifeward on either you or Oghren which ever one seems to die quickest it automatically heals whenever the persons health gets too low and remember to have her use revival on anyone who dies it brings that person or persons (if their bodies are close enough together) back to life. Also your mages probably have more spells than tactic slots so you will want to take control of them every now and then to use the spells that aren't set in tactics. Mages are the most powerful characters in this game but only if you use them to their full potential. Remember you can always put it on an easier level just for this battle if you still are having a hard time.
I have beat this battle several times I usually have a warrior, two mages, and a rogue and its getting to the point that its too easy and I need to make it harder but I used to be where you are until I started figuring out the tactics screen and tacking more control over all people in my party so don't worry its very possible to beat even with as little stuff as you have.
