My little brother lied about his age on Runescape?

Since my brothers too young (12 years old) to make a yahoo acount, im asking this question for him. When he signed up for Runescape (2,3 years ago?) he put his birthdate at 1992, making him 13 or 14 then. Now he would be 16 and he feels guilty that he lied. He's now really good at the game , lvl 72 combat, with many rare items and doesn't want to give all of that up. Should he make a new account when hes 13 ( and lose all of his rare items, including holiday items, dragon armour and weapons, coins, runes, EVERYTHING!), or just come clean with Jagex and maybe hope they won't ban him?|||Don't worry about it. Jagex doesn't do background checks.
