How to get the "SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD" to avoid receiving "THE MARK OF THE BEAST"?

We are Presented to the Father





He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. Revelation 3:5. {SD 369.1}


The expression, "He that overcometh," indicates that there is something for every one of us to overcome. The overcomer is to be clothed in the white raiment of Christ's righteousness, and of him it is written: "I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels." O, what a privilege it is to be an overcomer, and to have our names presented before the Father by the Saviour Himself! {SD 369.2}


What a precious assurance is contained in this promise! What greater inducement could be presented to us to become the sons and daughters of God? Who will put on the whole armor? Who will enlist under the blood-stained banner of Prince Emmanuel? . . . Divine enlightenment may come to every struggling, tempted child of God in order that he need not fall in the strife with the powers of darkness, but be a conqueror in every battle. {SD 369.3}


The spotless robe of Christ's righteousness is placed upon the tried, tempted, yet faithful children of God. . . . Their names are retained in the Lamb's book of life, enrolled among the faithful of all ages. They have resisted the wiles of the deceiver; they have not been turned from their loyalty by the dragon's roar. Now they are eternally secure from the tempter's devices. . . . The remnant are not only pardoned and accepted, but honored. "A fair miter" is set upon their heads. They are to be as kings and priests unto God. While Satan was urging his accusations and seeking to destroy this company, holy angels, unseen, were passing to and fro, placing upon them the seal of the living God. These are they that stand upon Mount Zion with the Lamb, having the Father's name written in their foreheads.





"Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." {PP 307.1}


The Sabbath is not introduced as a new institution but as having been founded at creation. It is to be remembered and observed as the memorial of the Creator's work. Pointing to God as the Maker of the heavens and the earth, it distinguishes the true God from all false gods. All who keep the seventh day signify by this act that they are worshipers of Jehovah. Thus the Sabbath is the sign of man's allegiance to God as long as there are any upon the earth to serve Him. The fourth commandment is the only one of all the ten in which are found both the name and the title of the Lawgiver. It is the only one that shows by whose authority the law is given. Thus it contains the seal of God, affixed to His law as evidence of its authenticity and binding force.|||by calling on jesus to be saved romans 10:9

[14] Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.|||The powers of darkness include deceptions, and deceptions are proffered through the methodology of deceptions.





Insisting Christians keep the sabbath is rife of these methods of deception.





1. The claim that the sabbath was instituted at creation. This is false. God's rest was instituted at creation, of which the sabbath is but a shadow (Col. 2:16-17). God worked, and God rested. That seventh day shows having no end. God is still in that rest. There is no example of anyone being commanded to keep the sabbath, or anyone keeping it, until the Israelites left Egypt.





2. The seal of God, redefined as being those who keep the sabbath. False. The seal of a Christian is the Holy Spirit. If it were the sabbath, then a false Christian becomes a true Christian simply by keeping the sabbath.





Those who overcome are described in other ways; those who believe the gospel, for example. It is a message of salvation through faith in Christ, and not a divided or diluted faith between Christ and keeping old covenant points of law such as the sabbath.





Rationalizations, such as you proffer here, do not overthrow the facts of Scripture. We are saved by and through faith, and not law.





The sabbath is a command in the law. Christians are dead to the law; freed from the law; not under the law. The sabbath was a shadow of the rest one finds in Christ, and is entered into through faith, and is not tied to any day of the week. (Heb. 4).





.|||Any that have not accepted Jesus Christ, and have not been born again are already of the number and the beast, or the man of "sin".





Men who are not born again by rejecting Christ, and by man having a sin-nature through Adam who was (created the 6th. day) and father Noah who was (600 at flood) he is already of the rule of Satan, sin and death.





Though unknown to the sinner man he is already of that system by sin living in them, and the devil is through men who reject Christ, building the anti-christ system kingdom.





The Messiah in his rising from the grave already conquered Satan, death and sin; any not born of the risen 2nd. Adam is already of the spirit that shall empower the beast; by their sin-nature ruling.
